November 2023 Siop Siarad – Intermediate 1

Thank you for filling in this brief registration form for our Siop Siarad! Each one-hour conversation group will be limited to 10 participants and will be moderated by an advanced Welsh speaker or tutor. Registration is first-come, first-served. The sessions are free.

Moderator Bio: Oliver grew up hearing stories of Wales and was first introduced to the “Iaith y Nefoedd” by his maternal grandfather. Although he may have not have been fluent, his tad-cu knew enough to keep the language alive, and Oliver has been working hard to resurrect the language within his family ever since. Keeping Yr Hen Iaith alive is a deeply personal affair for Oliver, but that’s not to say there’s not some fun to be had along the way! A native of the UK, Oliver has been living in the US for 8 years and currently works as a high school Chemistry teacher in Montgomery County, MD.
